About
Ingrid Flores is a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) in Texas, supervised by Maribel Arias, M.A., LPC-S. Ingrid attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Educational Psychology, along with certificates in Spanish for Medical Professionals and Business Spanish, in 2023. She later earned her Master’s degree in Counselor Education in 2025.
Ingrid has experience working with children and teens navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, family and relationship challenges, and emotional regulation difficulties. She values culturally responsive care and is especially passionate about increasing access to mental health services for Spanish-speaking and diverse communities. Her therapeutic approach is client-centered and integrative, drawing from modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, play-therapy, art-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, narrative, and family systems perspectives to best meet each client’s individual needs and goals.
Outside of counseling, Ingrid enjoys spending time with loved ones, staying active, being in nature, watching movies/shows, and listening to music. She is honored to be part of the Lirios team and looks forward to supporting families on their healing journeys.
